Nathan Sells is the very first person ever from Lubbock to be awarded a Black belt in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu from a Gracie family member. Ralph Gracie & Tony Bonello awarded Nathan his Black belt in 2010 at our Texas academy.
Nathan is also the kid’s Gracie Jiu-jitsu coach & assistant coach in the adult Gracie jiu-jitsu program.
Nathan also entered the 2009 No-Gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World Championships in the adult brown belt division & placed 5th.
Nathan is also a 6 year army veteran. He received his Bachelor’s degree in political science from Texas Tech University.
Gabe Garcia – Gracie Jiu-Jitsu coach

Gabe Garcia is a first degree Black belt in Gracie Jiu-jitsu under Ralph Gracie. He received his Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2005 and has competed at the highest level in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu early in his career. Since then, he has put his BJJ skills to the test inside the Mixed Martial Art’s Cage and is a veteran of 13 professional MMA fights.
In the process of his 13 professional fights, Gabe has competed in Brazil fighting “bare knuckle” in a Mixed Martial Arts fight, he is also a veteran in the WEC organization and has competed in Japan against UFC super star Jon Fitch. Gabe has won two North American Shoot Fighting Alliance Championships and is the Oklahoma Submission Championship’s Gold Medalist.
